The Ontario Provincial Championships on March 5th and 6th in Kingston saw great fencing from ten club members. Chris Wick and Byoungchan Kim fenced in the Senior Men’s Epee, the largest category of the tournament, on Saturday. They placed 47th and 40th respectively. BK missed his first DE by a single point after a great comeback, and Chris went on to fence in the Veteran Men’s as well, where he finished 12th.
The 2016 Vango Winter Open was held on February 6-7 and saw seven London Fencing Club members compete, with five coming in the top ten and one achieving a medal!
Congratulations to Nathaniel and Noah Stokan for winning second and tenth respectively in the Niagara Winter Open on the January 23-24 weekend.
Eight London Fencing Club members attended the Brock Open tournament on the November 14-15 weekend, representing a number of categories and coming home with two medals!
Summer has arrived which means we have changed our practice venue to Boyle Community Centre.

The 1st Ever Western Open Fencing tournament was held on Saturday November 22, 2014 here in London, Ontario. There were a lot of competitors and fun to be had! London Fencing Club had a number of members competing in Men's Épée and Women's Épée. In Women's Épée, Andrea won Silver and Hillary won Bronze!
