Eamon Drysdale had a busy fall tournament season, winning two medals!
At the Newmarket tournament, he lost one of his poule bouts, coming in 6th after poules. He then cruised through his Direct Elimination bouts all the way to the semi finals, where he met his fellow teammate and former LON fencer Connor Wilson. Eamon fenced a close match but came out on top. In the finals, Eamon fought hard and came from behind to win the gold!
At the Wayne State tournament, Eamon fenced well in the poules though lost one bout, to Connor Wilson. He then cruised all the way to the final, where he fell short, final score 11-15, thus winning the silver medal.
Congratulations Eamon!
