Recap of the 2025-2026 Fencing Season

We had another very successful fencing season, with lots of new fencers complimenting our core crew.

Once again this year, we had three rounds of beginner classes, which saw participants from all ages learn the art of fencing. We also had three sets of intermidate classes where kids, teens and adults continued to develop their skills and tactics on the piste.

The advanced class worked hard all season too. We had 15 fencers compete in 13 tournaments this season, for many, at their first tournament! Dom represented the club at Nationals in Quebec City, and 10 fencers represented the club at Provincials. Alex competed at the Ontario Winter Games. Numerous medals of all colours were won throughout the season, along with many strong top 16 and top 8 results. Congratulations to all!

Now we are enjoying our Summer programming for our advanced class and we are taking a break in our beginner and intermediate classes.

Thank you to all the fencers for another great season! Wishing everyone a nice summer!
