Our club had a great showing at the Queen’s Open in Kingston on October 27/28. Men’s epee was held on Saturday morning, with Brock Walter-Connoy, David Andreae, Eamon Drysdale and Christian Espanol competing. David and Eamon both won 5 matches in their poules, with Brock and Chris winning 2. After the elimination round Eamon finished 22nd, David 33rd, Brock 41th and Chris 43rd out of 67 fencers. Good job boys!
On Sunday, Karen showed of her skills in the women’s epee event. She had several exciting matches in poules, winning 4 of her 7 bouts! After elimination she finished 20th out of 40 fencers. Great job lady!
