Ontario Summer Games 2016 – Good luck Nathaniel

London Fencing Club’s own Nathaniel Stokan has qualified for the Ontario Summer Games!

The Games will be held in Mississauga at the Hershey Community Rinks from August 11th to 14th, 2016 . Nathaniel will fence in the Cadet Men’s Epee; his poule bouts will be on the 12th at 1:00PM.

The Ontario Summer Games is a prestigious event for young athletes, and requires regional qualification at numerous events, such as the Brock Open and Niagara Winter Open, in the months leading up to the Games. The 2016 Games are the largest in history, with over 4000 athletes, coaches, managers, and officials involved. Nathaniel qualified as the top fencer in his division for the Western Region, and will compete in a poule of six fencers.
