The fencing club had a great season, with 3 rounds of new members learning the art of fencing, and 3 rounds of intermediates perfecting their skills. The advanced class had several new intermediate class graduates joining! We also had two returning fencers dusting off their equipment after not having fenced for 20+ years!
The club had a successful competitive season, 16 fencers took part in 10 competitions which took place between October 2023 and June 2024. Seven members won medals. Thunder Bay hosted the Ontario Winter Games this year, two members competed there.
